Native New Yorker born and bred in the Bronx, home of those Yankees and Yankee Stadium. Several years ago I moved to Atlanta, and so began my love affair with the South. I became smitten with the charm and beauty that is the South. After several stops in between, I moved to Aiken 7 years ago, and I now consider myself a bona fide Carolina girl. I root for the Braves, and eat black-eyed peas on New Years Day.

I attended City College of New York and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. After graduation I discovered I couldn’t get a job with my degree and I went to nursing school, also in New York. I will always be from New York, but now I am rooted here in the South, and can’t imagine living anywhere else.

Following graduation I went on to become a labor & delivery nurse, which I adored & continued to do for several years, until I got married. That’s when I developed my passion for weddings. By the time I got married, I had attended the weddings of numerous friends. I attended all kinds of weddings in all types of glamorous & unique venues. For me, the most important part of the wedding was always the ceremony. I dozed through enough vows to realize that it was actually the ceremony that made the wedding. Was the officiant personable or dry and boring? Were the vows unique & heartfelt or just “cookie cutter?”

I became a wedding officiant in order to share my passion for weddings by helping you create the meaningful ceremony you’ve always fantasized about. I am a certified, ordained minister. I specialize in making your wedding unique, exceptional, as well as legal! Secular or spiritual, long or short, we will make the ceremony of your dreams a reality. Having been an English major has helped me become a skilled writer, as well as an experienced public speaker.
